American-type pad-mounted compact substations are fully factory-assembled, integrated power distribution equipment integrating high-voltage switching system, oil-immersed distribution transformer, low-voltage outgoing system and protection devices. The product is designed and tested in accordance with IEC 60076, IEC 62271 international standards and fully meets ANSI/IEEE C57.12.00 American standard specifications, widely applicable for urban power distribution networks, residential communities, commercial zones, industrial parks, photovoltaic power stations and outdoor public power supply projects worldwide.

Different from European box substations, the American-type design adopts an integrated oil-tank structure, compact layout, fully enclosed anti-theft cabinet and maintenance-free structure, featuring small footprint, fast field installation and high operational safety. We provide two unified international bidding price grades: 0.0901 USD/W (Standard Efficiency) and 0.102 USD/W (Ultra-Low Loss Energy-Saving Type), with the high-efficiency version approximately 13.21% higher in unit price.

1. Dual IEC & ANSI Standard Compliance

The whole substation strictly follows international mainstream standards: transformer part complies with IEC 60076 and ANSI C57.12 series; high-voltage switchgear complies with IEC 62271; enclosure protection and safety tests comply with IEC 60529. All electrical performance, insulation level, temperature rise and short-circuit withstand indicators meet global project bidding requirements, fully suitable for international grid and commercial power supply projects.

2. Integrated Compact Oil-Tank Structure, Small Footprint

Adopts classic American integrated design: high-voltage load switch, fuse protection and transformer body are all sealed inside the oil tank, with no exposed live parts. The overall structure is compact and space-saving, occupying only 1/3 of the floor area of conventional European box substations. Fully enclosed structure effectively prevents dust, rainwater and foreign object intrusion, realizing long-term outdoor unattended operation.

3. Built-In Full Oil-Immersed Protection System

Equipped with oil-immersed ring main load break switch and backup current-limiting fuse, realizing integrated short-circuit protection, overload protection and line fault isolation. The oil-immersed switch structure has strong arc-extinguishing ability, stable breaking performance and long mechanical service life, avoiding outdoor environmental interference. Low-voltage side adopts intelligent circuit breaker with overload, short-circuit and leakage protection functions.

4. Low-Loss All-Copper Transformer Core

Built-in S11/S13 series low-loss oil-immersed transformer, adopting 99.99% oxygen-free pure copper winding and high-permeability low-loss silicon steel core. Two efficiency grades for selection:

  • 0.0901 USD/W Standard Model: Meets IEC standard loss indicators, low initial investment, suitable for conventional urban and residential power distribution projects;

  • 0.102 USD/W Ultra-Loss Model: Optimized electromagnetic structure, lower no-load and load loss, effectively reducing long-term grid operation energy consumption, ideal for commercial parks and new energy power supply scenarios with 24-hour continuous operation.

5. High-Strength Anti-Corrosion Enclosure & Anti-Theft Design

The outer cabinet adopts thickened galvanized steel plate + multi-layer outdoor weather-resistant anti-corrosion coating, passing strict salt spray and aging tests. The overall waterproof and dustproof grade reaches IP33. Equipped with anti-theft lockable door and hidden fastening structure, preventing man-made damage and illegal opening. The top inclined drainage structure avoids rainwater accumulation, adapting to all outdoor climate conditions.

6. Maintenance-Free & Fast On-Site Installation

Fully pre-assembled and pre-tested in factory, only foundation fixing and cable connection are required on site, greatly shortening construction cycle. The internal oil-sealed switch and transformer structure requires no regular oil replacement and little daily maintenance, reducing later operation cost. Support ring network power supply and terminal power supply dual operation modes, flexible for grid connection schemes.
