220kV oil-immersed main transformers are high-voltage core power equipment for regional power grid substations, large energy booster stations, heavy industrial power centers and large-scale power transmission and distribution projects. The product is fully designed, manufactured and tested in accordance with the IEC 60076 series international standards, including IEC 60076-1, IEC 60076-2, IEC 60076-3, IEC 60076-5 and IEC 60076-10.

This transformer adopts full oxygen-free pure copper winding, low-loss high-grade silicon steel core, vacuum oil immersion treatment and standard on-load voltage regulation structure. It features high insulation reliability, excellent short-circuit resistance, low operating loss and stable continuous operation performance.

Two unified international bidding price standards are available:

0.0901 USD/W - Standard IEC efficiency model

0.102 USD/W - IEC ultra-low loss energy-saving model

The ultra-low loss version is about 13.21% higher in unit price, effectively reducing long-term grid operation loss and improving overall power system efficiency.

Core Product Advantages (IEC Standard Compliance)

1. IEC-Compliant High-Grade Insulation System

The 220kV high-voltage winding adopts multi-layer composite insulating paper and integral shielding structure, fully complying with IEC 60076-3 dielectric test requirements.

Standard insulation withstand level:

  • Lightning impulse withstand voltage: 950kV peak

  • Power frequency withstand voltage: 395kV / 1min

The whole winding is processed by full vacuum drying and vacuum pressure oil impregnation, with extremely low partial discharge value, strong resistance to overvoltage, switching surge and lightning impact, ensuring long-term stable insulation performance under standard grid operating conditions.

2. Low-Loss Silicon Steel Core, Strict IEC Loss Evaluation

All loss indicators are tested and evaluated in accordance with IEC 60076-10 standard test methods, ensuring accurate and reliable no-load loss and load loss data.

3. Strong Short-Circuit Resistance (IEC 60076-5 Certified)

The winding structure and mechanical strength are designed in strict accordance with IEC 60076-5 short-circuit withstand standard. The high-purity copper transposed conductor and integral fixed clamping structure effectively resist electromagnetic impact caused by sudden short-circuit faults. No winding deformation, displacement or insulation damage occurs after standard short-circuit test, ensuring high safety and stability of power grid operation.

4. Standard On-Load Voltage Regulation System

Equipped with IEC-standard on-load tap changer, conventional tap range 220±8×1.25%. It can realize stepless voltage regulation under load without power interruption, adapt to grid voltage deviation and load fluctuation, and maintain stable output voltage of medium and low voltage sides.

5. Multi-Stage IEC Standard Cooling Mode

Support three internationally universal cooling modes: ONAN / ONAF / OFAF, fully compliant with IEC 60076-2 temperature rise limits. The cooling system matches the heat load of large-capacity main transformers, realizing stable heat dissipation under rated load, long-term overload and peak operating conditions, with low temperature rise and safe margin.

6. Complete IEC Standard Protection Configuration

Full set of standard protection components in line with international design specifications: oil conservator, capsule sealing system, pressure relief device, gas relay, oil temperature and winding temperature monitoring system, moisture absorber, sampling valve and complete grounding system. Realize over-temperature protection, gas fault protection, pressure protection and real-time operating data monitoring.

The tank body adopts thickened steel plate and standard outdoor anti-corrosion coating, with high structural strength and strong environmental adaptability. All sealing structures pass strict IEC standard tightness test to achieve zero oil leakage.
